Multi-branch restaurant tracks repairs with a WhatsApp group bot
1 Β· The problem
A popular KL-area restaurant chain had branch managers reporting broken equipment in a WhatsApp group. Nobody could tell who was assigned, when a job was fixed, and at month-end someone scrolled the whole chat to retype it into Excel.
2 Β· Agent setup
Instead of a new app, the builder added a bot into the existing group. It captures each report, saves it to a database with a unique ID and branch code, and posts an end-of-day summary of solved and pending cases.
3 Β· Result
The builder says it has run for months and become part of the staff's normal workflow, with no new tool to learn.
4 Β· Copy-paste prompt
Read this WhatsApp maintenance report and return JSON: branch, item, problem, urgency, reported_by. Then write a short end-of-day summary of open and closed cases.
